Why not Hikari & Takeru?

First off, I have nothing wrong with this pairing. This makes way more sense than Ken & Miyako.

Whilst Takeru is very loyal to Hikari and all..... There's one thing he wasn't able to help her with - The sighting of the Dark Ocean.
Takeru is, and always will be a close friend to her, but I feel there's still some things he wouldn't be able to do for her. Hikari loves seeing Daisuke angry, which is why she often gets Takeru to flirt with her. You can tell there's nothing else aside from a close friendship when she does this though.
The dub version of Digimon 02 is very Takari based. As usual, like most dubs, it's exaggerated. A lot of the scenes were changed to make it more.... 'Cute'? I don't know why they keep doing it, but they do.
