Why not Ken & Miyako?

I will try my honest hardest not to flame Miyako or this pairing, but be warned - I can't deny that I hate this pairing more than any other in anime. Please don't flame me for my own personal opinion.

Miyako was infatuated with Ken at the start when she first found him. Your typical fangirl 'He's so cute, I love him so much!' attitude. She thought Ken was cute, she thought Gennai was cute. So, nothing special there. Moving along.....
Miyako also slapped Ken to wake him up. But wait - She also slaps Hikari for the same reason. So, again, nothing Ken got that was exclusive.
Now, we come to the thing that I hate the most. She stood there like a stuffed lemon (That's not a bash, it's what she did) and watched Ken in pain when he was trying to close the portal to the Dark Ocean. Hikari ran up to Ken, followed by Daisuke a little while later. If she really cared about Ken, she would have been straight after Hikari - Or even better, beat her to it.
Miyako, in my opinion, is far too hot headed to be any good with Ken. Daisuke and her are often fighting, and you know the saying - You argue with people you care about. Not to mention she spends most of her time interacting with Daisuke over Ken anyway.
I don't care for the ending at all - I found it hard to believe, not just the pairings, but the jobs they had as well. To me, it was a quick way to get on with Tamers. So, I never consider the ending at all, for anything.
